  It seems that many of the employees here insist on fulfilling the stereotype of bitter public servant with an axe to grind. One might expect this in a DMV office with full seats and overworked staff but the rude approach and lousy attitude I recieved in this office was incongruent with the fact that I was 1 of 2 calm and collected individuals waiting for assistance. It's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be any standard or regulation of customer service in this office. Luckily, the angry mugshot now on my license will forever remind me of the experience.

  Obviously a badly overworked individual is staffing this office... alone ! The waiting room has 7 chairs, all occupied by people with crappy attitudes. I was not able to wait, and checked online this morning to find that I was able to renew my license online. The State of Colorado may not have this active strategy, but the situation in this DMV office certainly encourages online self-service rather than walk-in full service. This is where state services are heading, folks, get used to it !

  The state run web site is over a year out of date. The staff is condescending and unprofessional. They are grossly under trained. I just spent the last 4 hours trying to renew a standard license. After my 3rd attempt I finally got it done with. Don't waste you time here. Do your renewal online if you can or at another office.
